Pennsylvania Pitcher Plants is a carnivorous plant store & questionnaire run by Ian Fitzhugh, and Nathan Manns since 2006. We provide useful information for any carnivorous plant grower out there who needs it. Our motto is    " Quality not Quantity"
NOTICE: This is currently a hobby and not a full time business.
We may or may not be open to the public at the time of your calling. Sorry for any inconvenience. As the name suggests, we do live in York Pennsylvania, USA. We really don't have business hours, if you would like to come visit our nursery you will have to call ahead so we can get ready for your visit.

I was inspired to grow carnivores by Michael Szesze and Peter D'Amato.

NOTE: We here at Pennsylvania Pitcher Plants are extremely environmentally conscious. We strictly propagate all of our plants from tissue culture, leaf cuttings, rhizome division, and root cuttings. We have never been, and never will be involved in illegal field collection. Note that all carnivorous plant species have at least some form of lawful protection prohibiting field collection or disturbing of plants in any way, shape, or form. Furthermore, if one chooses to violate these serious laws, and disturb the plants, that particular person would indeed face a fine possibly exceeding $10,000.00 or jail-time depending on how severe the violation is.
